Youth hockey at KJ's Ice Barn is the perfect entry point for young players to dive into the exciting world of hockey. This co-ed league is a fun, low-pressure environment where kids can learn the basics of the game while making new friends and building teamwork skills.

Players are grouped by age and skill level, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the game and improve at their own pace. With practices focused on developing fundamental skills like skating, passing, and shooting, kids gain confidence on the ice. Games are friendly and supportive, emphasizing sportsmanship and the joy of playing rather than just winning.

The league is a community-focused program, with experienced coaches and volunteers dedicated to creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere.

Most players in the house league have at least some experience skating and playing hockey. While it is not required, we recommend that all new players complete a learn to skate and learn to play hockey class to set them up for success in the house league.
